Shane's 9 to 5 profession is a Construction Project Manager but his passion is Sport performance, Strength and Conditioning. His coaching journey started in 2009 when he became a certified fitness instructor and held very successful fitness classes in various locations. while also working part time as a fitness coach at Phoenix Total Wellbeing. After emigrating to the US Shane continued to advance his fitness education by completing Online Personal Training by NASM. He has since completed a National Certificate in Strength and Conditioning (NCSC) and a Performance Specialist with EXOS. Shane was the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Mayo U17 Football team in 2020. Currently Shane is working with Connaught Rugby as Youth Athletic Development Coach and the Athletic Performance Coach with the Mayo Senior Hurling Team.
